december...

Here we are, December 2006 is gone and Silas is already a month old. I haven't had time to update the blog what with sleepless nights, washing bottles, making formula, changing vile diapers, getting ready for Christmas, getting finished with Christmas, visiting family, having family visit us, procrastinating with the thank you cards (coming soon), dealing with the fact that a quiet, sleeping baby will cry as soon as I try to fold laundry, have a nap, do some dishes, have a shower, or update a blog....

But, it's been getting more fun as time goes by. Silas had his 1st Christmas, and I guess it was the excitement of Santa coming that made him sleep through the entire Christmas morning. But, when he woke he was THRILLED!! with all his new stuff.

As for myself, I don't want Dan to go back to work (friday) and I have to figure out what to do with myself now. So far I have 2 appointments in January... not bad, and I have some gift certificates from Christmas to spend, so Silas and I are gonna be spending some time at the mall. He's a good little shopper. I also have to figure out when we'll be going to Cochrane... February sounds good, Silas wants to meet his Great-Grandparents. I'm also waiting for some snow... Cause that darn snowboarding pass I have is kind of useless right now. I have to find a sport that has nothing to do with the weather... Anywho... I hate global warming!
