mr noodles macaroni = ew!

I had my 1st day back at work after 5 days off. I was overwhelmed when I walked into the office, but ended up having a pretty quiet, good day.

It all started when I went to my dentist apointment at 9:10 am today. The dental hygenist first commented on how long it's been since I've had my teeth cleaned, told me I should go more often then she proceeded to scrape tartar off my teeth for a half hour. As she did that the talked about how this wouldn't be so painful, or long, if I'd just come every 6 months. I felt like saying, "I would have... but you had taken all of my money, so I couldn't!"

Then the dentist came in and said the same thing. Not bad though... Only 1 teeny tiny cavity which I couln't have prevented, not even by going to the dentist more often! I'd explain but nobody really cares.

Then I went to work, trained someone, and here I am. Eating Mr. Noodles macaroni. It comes in a plastic bowl, you pour cheese powdery stuff into it then fill it, to the "line", with water.

MR. Noodles macaroni in a plastic bowl IS NOT GOOD!!!

When in doubt...Shave the cat!

I took Jooje to the "spa" yesterday. She had a Mani/Pedi, wash, style, and kick-butt new haircut. She'll be so cool this summer as she sports her new Lioness look. To be quite honest, I think Amerylis may be jealous. One could only wish to be as cool as Jooje. She carries her new look well, and puts a smile on the face of all who see her (or puts them into fits of hysterical laughter)....

Life's Lessons

So, I haven't blogged in a while... a lot's been going on. I was in Cochrane, I turned a year older, I flew, I'ts been dang hot, and I ate ice cream in the back of a Jeep.

I'm 24 now. Yay! I think. Cochrane was nice. Got to see a lot of my friends and play music with the youth band... Ouch, my ears. Why, oh why, do teenagers like loud stuff? I walked around the lake with Karen, Lily, and Sarah. Sarah said it was like nothing had ever changed. It was like we were back in high school again. Fun.

I was eaten alive by mosquitos. If anyone complains about the bugs down here, I will personally drop them off in Cochrane. Although, I did get a nasty bug bite in Breslau yesterday... It's huge! I Don't have a clue what bit me but I hope it didn't live long.

I flew home from Cochrane... well Timmins to Toronto. Total travel time 3hrs. Total time in the aircraft 1 1/2hrs. Awesome. There is no other way, I am convinced of that now.

It has been darn hot for the past week. 'nuf said.

We drove around in Matt's Jeep yesterday with the top down. I had an ice cream cone, it got in my hair and all over my face... To save yourself trouble, refrain from eating ice cream in a moving vehicle wit the top down.
