don't mess with the pregnant lady slurpee people!

So we went to the 7eleven this evening for Slurpees (of course). I was hoping for grape but nope... no grape. So cream soda sounded good. But they had put strawberry banana in the cream soda thingy... ew! Then I told the 7eleven lady and she didn't seem to care. Probably cause she works at 7eleven. So, I had to make myself a new slurpee. I was so ticked.

Brrr...

So I woke up this morning and heard that it's -30 in Edmonton. So I checked it out on the weather network, and indeed it is! I like snow and we're supposed to get some on Sunday. Winter is 24 days away... That's exciting!
I also really feel strongly that I should have a baby this week. I sent him an eviction notice for at least Thursday. He needs to find other accomodations cause he's starting to party too much and he's trashing the place...

- That's amerylis, wishing I had more of a lap for her to sit on... Now, correct me if I'm wrong, that's big! A really big belly. It looks like a planet with the sun bouncing off it. Some people seem to think it's small, but it's freakin' huge!! I'm also sooo sick of people coming up to me and saying, "Looks like you've dropped!" What the heck!? It's all I can do to keep myself from saying, "Looks like you've dropped!!" So, if things don't happen near the end of this week, I have permission to drive someone's tractor... that's the backup plan so far. Ha, ha...

How to make Jooje really upset...

I was looking around on youtube this morning and came across a video sooo bad that Jooje, who was laying beside me on the couch, looked scandalized and came over to me to make sure everything was alright. Poor Jooje... I've never seen her react like that to anything...

On the other hand, Jooje did not get as upset about this one.

Yep, those are my toes way down there. I have to take people's word for it when I ask if I have any pants on... cause I can't see 'em, unless I'm sitting (which is often).

So, thus far with all my time off I've searched the mall for the perfect diaper bag... that search should end tonight when I get Dan's opinion on one... and I had quite an exciting visit to dollarama and bought some giftwrap for Christmas gifts, which I should be wrapping later this week, or maybe I'll leave it 'till next week. Took the cats to the vet, they were thrilled! Went to a doctor's appointment today and got some groceries at Giant Tiger... there are many good deals to be had at Giant Tiger.

I'm almost ashamed to say it, but I also tried my hand at (s)crapbooking this week. And wonder of all wonder, I hate crapbooking! But I didn't give up, I completed the task set before me and hope to never do it again.

So, I decided to give up trying to be a moose...

...and gave my best shot at carving a pumpkin on Monday...

...then, Dan and I practiced dressing a baby, cause you can never be too prepared...

Then I had my last day of work yesterday, where my co-workers bought these nifty slippers for me.

And Dan has started painting the hallway orange.

sleepless morning...

So, I woke up at six this morning... A restless night and I'm sooo uncomfortable, and the next person who suggests a body pillow to me is gonna get it. I don't know what they're gonna get, but it may or may not be pleasant. My hips feel like they're dislocated and my back will not ceace to ache... that was my night. This is my last day of werk... maybe I'm excited about that, dunno.
So, here I am, been up for a while now, did my online banking... got the bills paid and grieved over the fact that I just got my last full pay... until approx. next October. Ah well, eh?
